Thomassen Transport participates in InCompanyLogistics! ๐

Aventus is launching the InCompanyLogistics program with six logistics and transport companies from the region.
InCompanyLogistics is a practice-oriented mbo level 4 logistics and transport education, which is taught at the workplace of the collaborating companies from the region. The companies involved are Beekman Transport, HANOS International Hospitality Wholesale, Vos Transport Group, Albert van de Scheur the lifting and Transport Specialist BV, Schotpoort Logistics, and Thomassen Transport BV.
With InCompanyLogistics, students no longer need to attend school for theoretical classes as all lessons take place within the participating companies. This benefits students who prefer on-the-job learning and makes the education more appealing. We also aim to make the sector more attractive, which is in dire need of workers.
The success of InCompanyLogistics depends on the commitment of the participating parties. Censes is guiding this process and co-designed it with Aventus. The letter of intent has just been signed. โBy signing this document, we ensure a good and pleasant collaboration where we progress and maintain contact to continue development,” says Krijn Jansen, director of Censes. With this education, the business community and education work together on a future in which we train skilled workers in practice.
“We set up this program because students like to learn in a practical environment. By collaborating with companies, we can better align the curriculum with real-world practices, allowing students to more quickly see how to apply their acquired knowledge. We can also adapt more quickly to developments in the industry,” says Raimond Bartelink, board member of Aventus.
Wendy Thomassen, HR manager Thomassen Transport: โIt’s wonderful to see companies with overlapping interests collaborate for a greater purpose. We put students and potential employees at the forefront, boosting employer branding.”
